Adams Center Road near Paulding Road

Fort Wayne, IndianaMar 27, 20170 Comments

The road name changes from Maplecrest Road to Adams Center Road through Adams Township. The speed limit drops from 45 on Maplecrest Road to 40 through Adams Township. It doesn’t feel like it needs to be that low through this stretch and the flow of traffic is faster. The Allen County Sheriff’s Regional Training Facility as along this road so officers are in the area and can pick off those going over 40 easily. Our vehicle was right behind several others going more than that, so ours was ticketed and the others went on without consequence.

Fort Wayne, IndianaJun 23, 20130 Comments

Fort Wayne city officers are sitting in a left turn lane that is just past the overpass that crosses I69 facing south with their turn signal on, clocking people as they crest the overpass. At night, it just looks like someone waiting to make a left turn, and you don’t realize it’s a cop until it’s too late.

The cop had another person pulled over at the same time and asked her to pull in behind him. I warned everyone I knew and I had several reports that he was there most the day pulling people over, again 2 at a time.
