Roanoke, Indiana Speed Traps

This stretch of Highway has lots of activity when it comes to speed traps. They cruise this section quite a bit and also hide in different spots along the road. This is an area to make sure you do the speed limit. I know people who have gotten pulled over for 1-2 miles over the limit! Watch out because it does change as you get near Homestead Rd going into Fort Wayne and also going towards Roanoke it drops.

Officers will sit at the school at the enterence. Coming from the country to the town goes from 55mph to 35 mph and he will catch you.

the officer will sit on a dirt road just off the road where you cant see him. The speed limit goes from 55mph to 35mph and he is right there where the speed limits drops!

The speed limit drops to 55 from 60 without enough signage.

I was driving down US24 going to Ohio and decided to stop for gas. As I was filling up my gas tank an Indiana State Trooper came up to my car and informed me that he had been following me and I had been speeding. I got a ticket for speeding. Ironically, he had been parked at the gas station prior to me arriving.
