Augusta, Kansas Speed Traps
US 54/Kellogg West bound past Pizza Hut/Walmart
When you are heading out of town west bound, the speed limit sign past pizza hut says 30 then about 100 yards it says 50. Speed trap here as they setup in the motel parking lot so you can’t see them. I got a ticket for doing 45 in a 30 because I was speeding up to the 50 mph.

Santa Fe Lake Road near US Highway 54
Headed North on Santa Fe Lake Rd (South of Hwy 54), right before SW 110th St., the speed limit changes from 55 to 40 and you have about 5 seconds at best to slam on your brakes. As you go up the hill @ 55, right before you hit the top it changes to 40. You can’t see the other side at the bottom of the hill, where a sheriff’s officer will be sitting at the bottom waiting to clock you speeding as soon as you hit the top and by the time you see him, it’s too late, because he has already spotted you.
Highway 77N at City Limits
