Furman Boulevard near Hikes Lane   Louisville, Kentucky

Main residential thoroughfare for motorists wishing to travel between Taylorsville Road and HIkes Lane, or wishing to access I-264 (Watterson X-way) at Taylorsville Road. Speed limit is posted at 25 MPH, due to residential neighborhood. But it is very easy to travel 35 to 40 MPH without knowing. Invariably there is some officer patroling (marked/unmarked) or riding through.

Interstate 65 near Interstate 265   Louisville, Kentucky

Unmarked Crown Victorias, Dodge Chargers, and Chevy Camaros are used along Interstate 65 north and south between Interstate 265 and Interstate 264. They will sit in the emergency lanes as if they are broke down. The speed limit drops to 55 from 65 when you enter Louisville from the north and south. They are out there constantly, day and night, and never give warnings.

Interstate 65 North near Near I-265 South of Louisville   Louisville, Kentucky

The speed limit drops to 55mph from 65mph as you enter Louisville from the south. There is only one speed marker and it's easy to miss if you are driving in one of the left hand lanes and a tractor-trailer blocks your view. I received a ticket for going 70mph in a 55mph zone when I thought the speed limit was 65mph.

Interstate 65 South near Exit Number Fern Valley Road   Louisville, Kentucky

As you are traveling down just after the Fern Valley RD exit there is a curve, you can't see past around it because it curves to the left, usually someone sitting right there
