Commonwealth Avenue near Lake Street   Brighton, Massachusetts

Coming from Boston college TOWARDS boston on Comm Ave. After the actual campus less than 1 block on the right a cop will stand in front of an unmarked dodge intrepid a ( tinted windows?) pointing the gun towards you. He will be immediately before a gas station and tall apt building. He has no qualms about flagging you over and I missed a ticket b/c the guy in front of me got bagged. After reading another post on this site " The road is illegally posted 30mph, so says Mass Highway. Comm ave is a 2 lane divided highway at that point prima facia speed limit is 50mph so fight them tickets. I recieved a citation the Friday after thanks giving 2002. Which I fought an won.
Other's Comments - 3/2004 - Thanks very much for posting this advice. I went to court with this explanation in mind. I stepped into the magistrate's office, and he dismissed the ticket. Every other person I spoke with in court had gotten a ticket in the same area

Comm Avenue near Chiswick Road   Brighton, Massachusetts

When driving east on Comm Ave toward BU, the road will go down hill after the set of lights that marks the intersection of Chiswick Rd/Comm Ave. When Comm Ave starts to rise again a cop will be standing on island that separates the main road from the service road at Summit Ave. he'll use a radar gun to get you as you come down the hill

Commonwealth Avenue near bottom of hill after crossing chestnut hill ave   Brighton, Massachusetts

Eastbound on Commonwealth ave after you cross over chestnut hill ave as you go toward the bottom of the hill, near Chansky's market. Police wait about 1/2 way up the hill on the right near the Celluar phone store. Its a long downhill straight street and you are naturally speeding. They wait right by the side and pick you off.

Commonwealth Avenue near Boston College   Brighton, Massachusetts

heading eastbound on Commonwealth Ave, RIGHT AFTER you leave Newton City Limits... There is a cop that hides in the driveway to Evergreen cemetery (which is a perfect hiding place because there's a tiny hill before you can see the tiny valley/driveway). I've only seen it used twice in the summer, but EVERYONE gets nailed when it does get enforced.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
