Easthampton, Massachusetts Speed Traps

No posted speed limit on the road. They sit at the bend where it goes toward parsons st. and hand out tickets like candy. The speed is apparently 40. It costs 200 bucks to find that out.

All down East street from either end Holyoke St. to Route 5. Cops love to patrol this very long straight stretch. Ive been using a V1 radar detector and have picked up all types of radar ( K Ka ) haven’t run into laser but it’s there due to inside source.

East St. is a continuous connector between US 5 and MA 141 on the Easthampton side of Mt. Tom. It’s 35mph the whole way but probably should be 45. There’s an abandoned garage between Clark and Vadnais St. just around a bend obscured by trees when you’re coming from the north where cops like to camp out occasionally, usually in the evening. I’ve never been pulled over going 45 but I definitely wouldn’t go any faster than that.

Very heavy use of Stationary Radar and Laser used on I-91 both directions from 18-22 mi.marker Easthampton and from Rt.9 exit Northampton up to Rt.2 Greenfield Exit. Be careful at the 34-36 mi.marker Whately and 41-48 mi. marker in Deerfield. Speed Limit 65 but most traffic goes 75 mph plus anyone above 74 mph will be stopped and ticketed when State Police are out in force.
