Halifax, Massachusetts Speed Traps
Oak Street
Small stretch of road between Plymton and Hanson where the only posting is Thickly Settled. Police will tuck into one of two entrances to Colby, a side street. Leading in and out of this stretch, the speed limit is clearly marked as 35 and the areas of 35 are more densley populated than the stretch marked thickley settled.
Elm Street
Heading North on Elm Street, about 1/2 a mile past Pond Street, the Speed Trap is located on the right side on an unmarked road behind bushes and it is barely visible.
Heading South it is approximately 1 mile past Hudson Street on your left.
The Speed limit is either 30 or 35 but it is really easy to do 45+
RT 36 near the beach/boat ramp
This is an update to the other listing, the speed limit is not 35 it is only 30 untill you get to Lindy’s store.
Route 106 – Near Industrial Park and East Bridgewater line
There are often cruisers parked in front of the Self Storage facility on the EB/Halifax line. Speed limit is 45 here, but the road is very straight and it is easy to go 60, so be careful!
State Highway Rts.105 and 106 near State Highway Rts. 105 and 106
Thompson Street (Rt. 105) – at the end toward Rt. 106 – about 1 mile from the intersection with Rts. 105 and Rt. 106.
Daily radar around 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. He often hides in the cemetary or at the end of Walnut St.
