Hanover, Massachusetts Speed Traps
The winding streets between 123 and 53, Woodland Drive
Stretch of winding side streets between 123 and 53, have several stop signs that seem to have no purpose. I stopped at one, few moments later cop on top of me, no idea where he was hiding, anyway, ticket said I didn’t stop and didn’t even slow down which is total BS. He was just trying to get anyone, fact that he wasn’t even the slightly bit aggressive proved he knew it was BS.
Rt. 53 (entire length through Hanover)
Hanover PD are always patrolling Rt. 53, typically one to two patrol cars depending the time of day. This is a huge moneymaker for the town.
Silver Street (entrance of Center Elementary)
If you’re on Silver Street and heading south (away from street with Salvation Army store), watch out as you come upon the cemetery on your right. Center Elementary School approaches on your left and the MPH zone is 30 (without school zone activated). Police hide in entrance of elementary school on left (behind bushes), and also one driveway down on same side (behind bushes). Radar detected as far back (north) as Donna Drive. If you see the school and 5-0 are there, too late!!!!
Mile Marker 28; Route 3 just before exit 13
