river street at town dump 1/4 mile from rt 114   Middleton, Massachusetts

Speed limit is 25 mph and NO ONE does 25: it's at least a 35 mph layout with an artificially low limit. Town get half their revenue on that trap. I protested a ticket, and there were 12 people protesting Middleton tickets at the court; 11 of them for that trap; 3 of them residents of the road. And those were only the ones who bothered to fight the tickets. Mass Highway Dept agreed that the posted limit should be reviewed, based on improvements made to the road since the limit was set 30 years ago.

State Route 114 near Area Between Angelicas Restaurant and Golf the Golf Course   Middleton, Massachusetts

The Middleton police hide on a side street off rt. 114 in Middleton near the Golf Course and HOBS Board Shop. The speed limit drops from 40m.p.h. to 30 m.p.h. and then back up. The road does't narrow and there is no school. It's a trap.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
