Route 27 @ Ambler Court

Natick, MassachusettsAug 05, 20100 Comments

Police cruisers and police bikes frequently hide out right at Ambler Court on Rt. 27 as there is good coverage by a tree and it is right near an elementary school. They always nail someone within a few minutes as it is common for cars (since it is a long, straight stretch of road) to exceed the speed limit by 15-20 mph. The police bikes are EXTREMELY hard to see, especially if headed on Rt. 27 N

On Washington Avenue, in the Sons of Italy parking lot

Natick, MassachusettsApr 14, 20100 Comments

The police sit in the lot a couple of afternoons a week, back from the road so they’re hidden from oncoming traffic by bushes on one side and the Sons building on the other. It’s usually a car, but sometimes a motorcycle.

Glen Street Near Marston Lane

Natick, MassachusettsMar 10, 20100 Comments

Officer sits on side road (Marston) located just beyond reduced speed sign on main road. Posted speed is so low, cars back up and go around others going under speed limit. With all towns in MA getting 50% of ticket "assessment" it’s no wonder.

State Route 9 westbound near Under the Speen Street Overpass Street

Natick, MassachusettsMay 23, 20080 Comments

Natick is the speed trap capital of Massachusetts, but this one is particularly offensive because the speed limit changes dramatically for no good reason– from a 50 mph section to a 40 mph — except to raise money for the Town Of Natick. Routine speeds through this non-stop section of highway are 50-60 mph, which makes this site particularly lucrative for the town and costly to many, many safe drivers who come to town to shop at the new and quite huge mall — the chi chi "Natick Collection." Natick should be ashamed and content itself with the tax money it gets from the mall.
