Intersection of Beacon St and Manitoba Road   Newton, Massachusetts

Traveling off from Route 16/ Washington St onto Beacon Street towards WABAN and WABAN T stop, there is a Speed Trap waiting at the intersection of Manitoba Road around 2pm. Supposedly the posted speed limit is 25 mph, the traffic is very light and you don't even realize you are driving faster than that.

Walnut St southbound   Newton, Massachusetts

Between forrest St and Lake Ave heading to the Highlands and Centre St. They sit just before the bend. Speed limit is 25 but you're heading downhill and must brake to maintain limit.

Crafts St. (headine North bound) before Rt. 16   Newton, Massachusetts

On most weekday evenings there is a police cruiser sitting at the side of the road catching speeders, (posted 25mph) he has a big bald spot and always has somebody pulled over. Be sure to hit the brakes after the DPW yard.

Dedham St & Rosalie Rd   Newton, Massachusetts

At the bottom of the hill, an officer will be parked on Dedham St checking cars headed towards Brookline St (away from Parker St). Be sure to apply your brakes going down the hill after Greenwood St until you can confirm there is no police presence.

Beacon Street near Angier School   Newton, Massachusetts

There are often speed traps along the stretch of Beacon Street from Angier school to Route 16, typically checking cars heading East on Beacon because police cars can be more easily concealed on that side of the street.
