State Route 122 near Davis Hill Road/Pleasant Street
State Police are located during the morning commute time, somewhere between where the intersection of Davis Hill Road and Pleasant Street and the center of Paxton. They are stopping vehicles heading towards Paxton Center and the direction of Worcester.
State Highway near Fire Station, near center of town just past entrance to Grove St.
The cops are CONSTANTLY sitting in the fire station parking lot, often with lights off, and sometimes far back as to be out of view. Coming from Worcester, there is a bend in the road right before the station that people are often tempted to speed up on, and the cruisers are way out of view until it is too late. The cop will oftentimes follow you a little first into the center of town (which is 0.5mi away) where the speed limit drops from 40 to 30 so they can tack on extra violations and fees. Later at night they often sit in the center of town as well, and they will pull over ANYBODY for ANY type of violation, no matter how small. Paxton police are nice in general, but they value safety and take the letter of the law very seriously.
