Route 8 Just past Tuckers going into village   Sandisfield, Massachusetts

This is a tricky stretch of road. It drops from 55mph to 40mph instantly. Approximately 1/4 of a mile north of this location it drops from 40mph to 20mph to prepare operators for a very sharp corner at the New Boston store. Troopers and Officers like to sit within this stretch of road because of the drastic drop in speed limits. Watch for cruisers at the Fire Department driveway as well as a grassy field just north of the Fire Department.
