Farm St near Rivers Ln

Wakefield, MassachusettsApr 29, 20190 Comments

Usually an Explorer or Taurus in stealth livery will be parked adjacent to the southbound lane & near the crosswalk. Their intention is to ticket drivers going downhill on Farm St. as you will easily reach speeds of 60+mph if you don’t ride the brakes the entire way down. They will relay your position to other officers in nearby speedtraps in order to follow/ticket you. When I passed by, the Taurus made a U-turn to follow me while a hidden Explorer pulled out of Hemlock Rd. to do the same. They then proceeded to make turns away from me only to turn around to Nahant St. to follow me on Main St.

Prospect St, across the street from the School house

They sit on Prospect St. Facing down the hill waiting for speeders. Difficult to spot him quick enough if you coming down the hill. Slow down on Prospect and be aware.

Intersection of Prospect St & North Ave

Wakefield, MassachusettsJun 14, 20110 Comments

The officer will sit in a very sneaky spot, hidden next to the guard rail at the very top of the ramp. The ramp is the one that you would take to turn onto Prospect St, coming off of North Ave as if you were headed away from 128. Seems like he’s primarily looking to get motorists running the red light. Although, I have seen him pull out for people going 50+mph. Be very careful of this one since he can be hard to spot until it’s too late.
