Wrentham, Massachusetts Speed Traps
Park St, half a mile from Rt 140
There are two locations used at Catherine Ave and Binney Circle. Watch your speed going down Park St as the traps are there frequently.
Taunton St at State Forest
When approaching the state forest area, the speed trap is located halfway down the hill in the dirt access road to the state forest property. The position is well hidden from either direction. The speed limit there is also very low because of the hill and the curve.
Comstock Road near State Route 121
Cruiser sits at the top of the hill of Comstock Rd. This is a short cut for commuters coming from 495 Franklin area heading to RI. This is a heavy residential area but a great short cut. Drive slow!
West Street near Cooks Valley Farm
The trap is located right before Cook’s Valley Farm if you are going towards Bellingham, MA (or right after if you are traveling *towards* Wrentham, MA). Pretty sneaky the way it’s set up if traveling towards Bellingham as you will go over a small hill and the cop is hiding and you won’t see him until it’s to late. Do yourself a favor DO NOT travel this road specifically between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. 5-7 p.m. and late night or if you do so I would recommend not going above 35 mph. This trap is near the RI border, so I would imagine they are able to ticket a lot of out of staters without having to ticket their own citizens- whom probably recieve a verbal warning or written warning vice a hefty fine most of the time.
