Yarmouth, Massachusetts Speed Traps

One just after blue Tourist sign after bushes/trees and one at the rest stop about a 1/2 mile up the road from the first. State police use a radar gun at the first and sit at the second waiting for speeders/non-speeders.

The Yarmouth PD will park in a business parking lot on the west side of the street or in a former railroad parking lot on the east side of the street. Both locations are near the street’s intersection with Old Townhouse Road.

The Yarmouth PD will park in a small dirt parking lot for the Crab Creek recreation area on the east side of the road. The parking lot is at the base of a hill and is out of sight due to bends in the road in both directions. It’s easy to naturally pick up some speed coming down the hill.

Yarmouth PD will park in a long town Water Department well field driveway, out of sight of the road, on the west side of North Dennis Road, near the intersection of North Dennis and Setucket Road.

Speed limit is 30MPH, you pick up speed going down the hill, police cruiser parks on Joel Rd. or Hawk Wing Farm Rd.
