Brunswick, Maryland Speed Traps

Frederick County Sheriff’s Office cruiser often sitting at the side of the road on MD. 79 just past the traffic light at the intersection with Souder Road/MD. 464/17. This is in the town of Rosemont, just outside of Brunswick city limits.

BPD sits in the Southern State Co OP parking lot and use radar on Souder road. Mostly its a 30 MPH zone and you are coming down a hill, the BPD is up the other side, but they shoot the radar on the way down.

Several Brunswick Police units will usually set up a huge speed trap at this junction. There will be no less then 6 Brunswick patrol cars at any given time. It appears that they are using RADAR and LIDAR.
