County Sheriffs hide their vehicles behind the trees in the median all up and down St. Charles Parkway. You don’t see them until it’s too late. The speed limits goes from 45 mph to 35 mph. Especially on Sunday mornings. Watch out church goers.

US Highway 301 near Harry Nice Bridge

Anywhere from Laplata to the Harry Nice Bridge. I’ve seen County and State Troopers set up, mostly in the medians, but not always. Also, when you approach the bridge heading to VA it drops to 25 MPH and it’s strictly enforced.

State Route 228

Charles, MarylandFeb 18, 20040 Comments

Usually during rush hour traffic. State troopers will sit on the side of the road with the trunklids up in the air, you can’t see their light bars until it’s too late. They’ll shoot radar and will jump out in the middle of the road to wave you in.
