Owings Mills, Maryland Speed Traps
Lakeside Blvd.
Speed trap is immediately before Brookside Commons (right) and Exxon gas station (left) on Lakeside Boulevard, heading toward Owings Mills Boulevard. Police car sits in turning lane, officer standing with radar, just about every weekday morning during peak morning commute hours. This stretch of road is uphill so by the time you see police car, it’s too late to slow down. I believe speed on this road is posted as 30 mph.
Greene Tree Road
The police car sits in between the building and the trees, and the policeman, when sees the approaching vehicle, jump of the bushes and aims the radar on a car.
Location: when you use the Greene Tree road to reach the Beltway as a shortcut and drive from Craddock Lane toward exit 20 or Hooks Lane, on the right side, precisely in Clifton Ct.
Interstate 795 Northbound
As you travel from I-695 going toward Owings Mills Blvd (exit 4), the MD State Highway Patrol cars sit on the right shoulder, near the McDonogh Rd overpass.
Garrison Forest Road near Crondall Lane
Between St. John’s Lane and Crondall Lane the police could be on either side of the road. Normally there mid-day and PM rush hour. There could be several vehicles pulled over at the same time.
Owings Mills Boulevard near Interstate 795
Immediately after you pass the I-795 South entrance ramp, Baltimore County police will sit on the right side of Owings Mills Blvd. right before the ramp to I-795 North. The speed limit is 40 but it’s a downhill road that curves to the right and you can’t see them until you round the curve. By then it’s too late.
