Long Plains Rd.

Long Plains Rd. (Rt. 22 just east of Rt. 202) is a sparsely populated, relatively straight country road posted at 40mph. After being ticketed, I set my cruise control at 40mph and felt like I was traveling very slowly on such an open road. It is very easy to feel you are at a comfortable safe speed, and actually be above the limit. I felt I was moving no faster than the traffic around me.

As you get close to Route 202 speed limit goes from 50 to 40 to 30 mph. Cops are often sitting in Elden Road right where it drops to 30.
