Valley Street
Between Veteran Circle & Congress. Three or more PPD vehicles hide in the BATH remodel parking lot (Across from the playground) & nab folks coming off I-295.
POSTED speed is ***25***. Also, they bag people speeding up from Congress to get to I-295. POSTED ***25*** in both directions
Frost St. between to Congress St. and Capisic St.
speed limit is 25 mph on a major commuter route where it should be at least 40.
Under the bridge near Congress St. Denny’s
they sit under the bridge and get people who don’t slow down after the exit from 295 onto congress st. if you are heading toward westgate, you don’t usually see them until you are almost on top of them.
Congress Street near Munjoy Hill
At Congress and St Lawrence streets there is a small office building with a large parking lot where Portland PD sit. It’s at the very top of Munjoy hill, just past the fire station. As you drive up the hill they sit on the right hand side, waiting for speeders and other offenders aprox 5-6 days per week. Mostly after dark, with their lights off.
