The Vilonia City limits includes only a 1/2 mile of this 10 mile of State Hwy. 64. bypass. Trap begins at the intersections of Hwy 64 and S. Church St. and continues 1/2 mile to Rocky Point Rd. The Hwy 64 bypass is miles south of Vilonia itself. After dark, Vilonia City Police in visually unmarked car, targets cars on this unlit, divided 4 lane highway through rural country. Officer will not identify himself as city police, but he is not a State Trooper. Speed limit is 65 MPH. Even if you drive on speed control, tickets are printed at 80 + MPH. Cost $200!

My son has to travel through Vilonia on his way to work.In the past 2 years he has paid over $1300.00 in fines.Including tag light burned out,40 in a 35 mph zone, window tint too dark, ect.I drove his truck after dropping him off at work and was pulled over also. The officer could not give me a reason for pulling me over exept "something didnt look right and he thought I was someone else".I strongly urge motorists to avoid US 64B through Vilonia.Use the new US64 bypass instead.

They park right next to police chiefs house in Saddle Creek Subdivision. As you approach that subdivision the limit drops to 30mph. Expect to get a ticket. Of note, this is outside the Vilonia City Limits. However, they must have some sort of agreement with Faulkner County to patrol this area.

Police set up south of town, catching traffic coming into town as the speed limit first drops. I travel this road regularly, and often see traffic stops. If you are from out of town, do not expect any leniency. You will receive a ticket…
