Clarkston, Michigan Speed Traps

Five patrol cars are pulling people over for speeding on Sashabaw rd currently.

Police hide here most mornings. This is heavily wooded, so they aren’t very visible.

The 2 stop signs on Miller only a block apart are favorite prowling ground. Police will often sit on the north side of Holcomb on Valley Park tucked well to the side with a radar gun, pulling over anyone who does not come to a complete stop. Another is to lurk on Glenbournie watching for a rolling stop.
Hours of operation are generally from 6 to 10pm, especially in summer, and at times very early in the morning between 2 and 3am.

West bound Waldon Rd. approaching Main St. the speed limit drops from 35 to 25 for a few blocks. The stretch is on a downhill. The speed limit of 25 does not match surrounding speed limits.

Patrol car sits in the woods on the north side of Waldon, 1/2 mile east of Sashabaw and just west of Pine Knob Rd.
