Delta, Michigan Speed Traps

Eaton County sheriff very frequently has a car sitting near Delta Center Elementary School during start and end of school day. The speed limit on Canal is 45 mph, except that during school hours it drops to 25 for a brief distance (between Saginaw and St. Joe) and then returns to 45 mph. The speed limit is well marked and if the speed limit sign is flashing, you can be assured there is most likely an officer lying in wait for you.

Sheriffs Patrol the area between M-100 and I-96/69 between 2:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Usually there are about 4 of them patroling the area.
