Riverdale, Michigan Speed Traps

There are no speed limit signs posted until town, apparently the signs are being removed south of town. According to the officer there are signs posted, I went back and looked, and could not find any prior to town. When I stopped and explained this to the officer, he told me they were there yesterday. Careful in this area, apparently speed limit signs are being stolen.

Officer is "tucked" into the NW corner of the parking lot across the street N of the funeral home, usually after dark but has been seen other times, as well. If you’re headed north on Lumberjack Road, you don’t the officer until it’s too late because of the funeral home. If you’re headed south, you don’t see the officer because of the trees lined along the N side of the parking lot.
