Fort Mohave, Arizona Speed Traps

Police sit in vacant lot behind Valley View hospital and behind large trees halfway to Mountain View. Speed limit is 25. It’s easy to speed because the area has a lot of open spaces, and you feel like you are driving on a country road. Beware, especially in the early morning, and the late afternoon.

Patrolled by Mohave County Sheriffs Deputies, especially at stop sign Calle Del Media.

This area of Highway 95 changes speed limits 4 times in about 17 miles, it goes from 55 to 45 to 55 to 45, everytime I travel this section, I see at least one car pulled over by either the Sheriff of the Highway Patrol, it seems to be safe to stay at 50 MPH for the entire length, I have never been stopped there, but I am careful.
