State Highway 231 South near Arab   Arab, Alabama

Arab is trying to increase revenue to pay for their new radar guns. They also put people on probation that cannot pay, until it is paid off and they charge a whopping $35 a month in addition to the charge. No questions asked, they charge you even if you can produce the insurance card or the tag receipt you could not find on the day you were pulled over and ticketed for not having one of these items (could not find because you were so nervous does not matter to them).

North Main Street   Arab, Alabama

The stretch of North Main Street between Hwy 69 and Hwy 231. The posted speed limit is 35 mph, and police cars can be sitting at various locations on this stretch of Main Street. One spot that seems to be a favorite is, if your traveling North, is on the left, a short distance from the post office and city hall.
