Chesterfield, Missouri Speed Traps

Not a speed trap but Officer will chase you down if you don’t come to a complete stop and wait a half hour before proceeding through intersections all along ThF from Edison to Chersterfield Airport Road.

The Chesterfield police patrol within a mile or so each direction from Woods Mill Rd. When I stopped at the Steak and Shake restaurant recently, I watched at least a half dozen chases during a 45 minute period. Another time recently a police car passed me at high speed west of Woods Mill. I caught up with him just east of Woods Mill with a car pulled over.

The police like to sit high up on either hill on Highcroft where Shoettler Valley crosses Highcroft and watch for stopsign runners.
They also like to sit on Schoettler Valley Dr. itself on the hills leading down to and up away from this intersection looking for speeders.
The speed limit is on 20 mph.
Lots of money made here!!!

Police like to sit back on the side streets along Schoettler Rd. near Logan College. The road is narrow and if you are over the limit they have plenty of opportunity to flag you down and give you an expensive ticket.
