Where Hwy 49 coming through Mt. Pleasant and goes from 2 lanes to 4 lanes all the way to Hwy 601 Concord exit .This is monitored by State Police,Cabarrus County, and City Of Concord.Speed limit is 55 but 4 lane should be changed to 65. I use radar detector daily and see at least 4 to 5 patrol cars on this streach of road writing tickets.

Old Charlotte Road near Jackson Training School

Concord, North CarolinaSep 08, 20100 Comments

Just recently the police department has posted that this is a traffic enforcement area. The speed limit is 35 mph and they WILL pull speeders. The unmarked cars (generally Dodge Chargers in black, slate grey or dark blue) will sit in the parking lot at the BP station or the side roads in the area and wait for speeders to drive by. This is also a school crossing area, so be warned – the speed limit IS enforced in this area.

On Hwy 29 in front of Kiser’s

Concord, North CarolinaMay 13, 20100 Comments

A unmarked cop sits in the lot with all the cars that are for sale and hides himself between these cars at Kiser’s (usually burgandy or grey color). They get you comming down that hill and usually have people pulled over at Punchy’s. BE WARNED!!!!
