If you enter North Haven Subdivision on Westbrook Drive off of Six Forks Road a Raleigh police cruiser will be there waiting in the afternoon from 3-5PM. Also as drivers cut through the neighborhood during the morning commute. The speed limit is 25 but most cars are going at least 40.
Raven Ridge Road near Midhurst Court

Millbrook Road near Six Forks Road
Speed Limits on Millbrook Road between Six Forks Road and Old Wake Forest Road are 35 mph. Everywhere else on Millbrook they are 45 mph. Police set up on cross streets just over hills.
Buffaloe Road near Old Buffaloe Road
Officers in cruisers and bikes (several at a time) sit at the corner across Old Buffaloe Rd and Buffaloe Road back into a residential street. The trick is that the the road bends right and just as the speed limit changes from 45 MPH to 35 MPH without a warning sign stating that the speed limit is changing in "x" amount of feet.
