Wikieup, Arizona Speed Traps

The officers near Wikieup use radar, stopwatch and pace. Once you pass milepost 125 going northbound they watch and pace all speeders. If you are coming southbound they watch for speeders once you pass milepost 123.

Entering Wikieup from the south, the posted speed limit drops to 45 several miles before the city. No construction, flat straight road, no reason at all for the drop in speed. Police that pick up speeders will follow them through the town hoping to catch a more serious violation.
