Bismarck, North Dakota Speed Traps
Century Ave. between Centenial and State St.
BPD sits in various locations along this street. Be careful the speed limit is 35 mph. It’s a four lane road which makes it deceiving. My girlfriend was pulled over at 41 mph. I have also been pulled over, and see people getting cited on a regular basis. Want a ticket, then speed on this road, BEWARE!!!!!!
I-94 Westbound
HP likes to just sit on the bridge on top of 4th st. Generally on saturdays. Speed limit is 60. Was pulled over and given a $35 ticket. Can’t remember the speed I was going. This was about a year ago. He was there again 1/30/2010. Likes to be there before noon.
On W. Main St. Between N. Mandan St. and S. Washington St.
Bismarck PD like to sit in the parking lot on the sound side of Main and radar traffic in the posted 25mph.
South 12th Street – South of Bismarck Expressway
Bismarck PD will park on shoulder of 12th tucked inbetween other parked vehicles and radar northbound and southbound. They generally sit facing south. Posted speed 25. They are there a lot.
E. Century Ave. & N. 4th St.
HP and PD like to sit in the park on the south side of E. Century Ave. Radar both directions.
