The speed limit is 50 mph. All of the law enforecment patrols this road seems like they aways have a speed trap set up somewhere on this road.

Platte County is a speed trap. If you have out of area or out of state plates they will try to pull you over for any reason they can find. Columbus is the County seat and has Sheriff, State Trouper and local Police enforcement in town. Plus there is Carrier Enforcement. Often they combine forces and stop all traffic leaving town headed South on I-81.
