Winnebago, Nebraska Speed Traps

As you come up over a rise and go down (south) into the town of Winnebago, the speed limit chages very quickly from highway speed to 40 then 30 miles an hour (remember you are going down hill). The policeman is hiding off to the left in a gully and you do not see him until it is too late to observe the 40 mile per hour sign. You can slow to 30 in time but not to 40. Beware. The fine is $250(2004).
