Maple Ridge, British Columbia Speed Traps

As you go under the overpass just before going onto the bridge. They sit off to the side of the overpass and wait…..

This is not really a speed trap, but rather, a seatbelt check, and from what I gather, lately, a cell phone trap.
The set up on the meridian between the two roads right across from Subway. They hide behind the light pole.
When people come down 224th after they have crossed Dewdney (heading towards Lougheed Highway), they watch for seatbelts and cell phone use. If you are in violation of the law, they pull you into the alley and other officers issue tickets. No tickets for me!!!

Just before 216th street. Police hide cars and stand under trees so you cannot see them.
