There is always a cruiser towards the end of Cross roads. I see them 2-3 times a week. So be careful.
State Route Rt 11 near Lights at Wal-Mart
Police cruise from the Spaulding tpk to the Wal-Mart lights all times of the day and sometimes park in the vacant lot across from The Granite Steak House. Be careful they are not leinent at all!
State Route 16 near Toll Booth
This one is like the other listed on Rte 16, just south of the Rochester Toll Booth, but not in the median. This one is on the South Bound side, AFTER the "Authorized Vehicles Only" turn around / speedtrap, in the breakdown lane at the crest of the hill. I’ve seen troopers standing next to their motorcycles w/ radar guns and outside cruisers with blue lights on – but the trunk lid fully open; obscuring the lights. Seen on Sunday PM full daylight hours.
Spaulding Turnpike near South Lane
This trap is located on the Spaulding Turnpike (Rt 16), south of the Rochester toll. As you crest the rise from the tool booth, headed south, and start down the other side, there is a turn around for state vehicles. The Police sit here, and shoot in either direction, depending on the time of day. It’s a pretty straight shot, so it’s hard to see them, until your eyes can adjust to the traffic flow. The speed limit is 55, on a 4 lane highway ! Of course, locals know this tactic, but others unfamiliar w/ this route are at risk.

The Police cruiser sits accross from the power lines and radars both North and South the speed limit is 45 so watch it they will nail u hard too
