Cambie St. Bridge northbound   Vancouver, British Columbia

This happend only once to me last summer in 17+ years living in Vancouver. I was pulled over when coming down the bridge towards downtow. I thought I slowed down enough to get by, but that did not work. I did not see a single cop with a radar there, so I am guessing they caught me earlier on the bridge and radio in the car details. There were many cars pulled over before and after mine. This is a perfect spot to put the foot slightly down and a great money maker for the city or whoever gets the ticket cash.

On Granville St Northbound at West 54th Ave.   Vancouver, British Columbia

Around 7pm there's a good strip after the W.57th Ave light before the W.49th Ave light. Just before some house's tall trees so you won't see them until they jump out.

Northbound on Oak Street right after West 33rd Avenue   Vancouver, British Columbia

Cops with lasers hide behind the tall bushes off Oak Street between West 33rd and West 32nd Avenue right before the BC Children's Hospital. Since there's a downhill stretch between West 37th and West 33rd, those guys love to catch the unsuspecting drivers that enjoy a little speed down that stretch. I've seen them there twice at around 7pm and once in the afternoon, but usually on a clear day so they don't get themselves wet.

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
