Ventnor Avenue near 28th Street
A small Boro located on the end of Absecon Island. Most if not all tickets issued are for speeding.
Ventnor Avenue near Longport Bridge
This trap works in both directions. Coming over from EHT/Somer Point the speed limit is 45. Up and over the Bridge it drops to 25. You will find the officer on the left in the Quality Roofing parking lot.
Coming through Margate, you will round the turn towards the Bridge. Officer will then be on the far side of the Quality Roofing parking lot, which is now on your right.
Coolidge Avenue near 36th Street
coming from Margate southbound into Longport the speed abruptly changes from 35mph in Margate to 25mph in Longport. There is little time to reduce speed because the town is so small and there are police officers at what seems like every street.
Bridge
Exiting the Longport Bridge onto the City road, speed goes from 40mph to 25mph suddenly. Police sit in business parking lot on left coming off of the bridge. Also very strict speed limit throughout the City.
