Old Bridge, New Jersey Speed Traps
Route 35 South, just over drawbridge.
This 4 lane, Jersey divided road, with ample paved shoulders and no businesses nearby is wide and smooth enough to easily go much faster than the posted speed limit of 40 mph. A patrol car waits in the shoulder to stop anyone going over 45 mph. Usual speed limit for this type of road is 50 mph.
RT 18 North & Spring Valley RD.
Unmarked Black Dodge Charger. He always parks in the Middle Island parked as a disabled vehicle.
Poor Farm Rd
Police park on shoulder near trees at night with lights off and take radar.
Rt 18 North just passed Rt 9 exit
Speed Limit drops just before this. Police hide behind trees in the median.
Rt 18 Southbound, Texas Rd overpass
Dark unmarked vehicle parked to the right of the shoulder(off road), perpendicular to road (so cop can shoot radar/laser out drivers window at southbound traffic). Difficult to spot because the vehicle is parked up against the brick facade of the Texas Rd overpass. Limit is 55 (feels like it should be 65 there).
Interesting because its Old Bridge PD getting you while leaving town and the location of their vehicle is actually in Marlboro.
