County Route 512/Main Street

Peapack, New JerseyJul 15, 20110 Comments

This is a Twin Borough, one horse town with a common Cop Shop. The speed limit is well posted at 25 mph. Multiple locations along CR 512 are favored by radar units from Liberty Park down to the Far Hills line. You had better slow down not just for the speed limit enforcement issue, but cars are allowed to park on one side of the street with total disregard for the passing traffic as there is very little room for a parking and travel lane on the south side of the street. Drivers, passengers, & pedestrians enter the roadway without notice or even a glance as to what’s coming. The intersection of CR 512 and Willow Avenue is very dangerous for everyone.
Be careful!

State Route 206

cops in peapack gladstone borough use STALKER RADAR. this type of radar has yet to receive judicial notice, in other words, if you fight the ticket, the cop has no leg to stand on. this kind of radar is not accepted by nj courts. just find a good attorney and he wil get you off, as well as make the cop look stupid. plus, peapack cops dont know how to testify, they have to keep notes with them on what it is they SHOULD have done or should know. they patrol 206 all of the time.

Peapack cops in their black cars are almost impossible to spot. They are usually hanging out in the bank parking lot or in the shoulder, just after pulling someone over. 206 is a 2-lane highway through the country so many people are tempted to go above the 50 mph speed limit.. Just be careful, cops are relentless out in those parts.
