N Hook Rd & Mellen Ave

At this location the police like to set up facing Southbound in one of three locations; the parking lot of an auto repair shop, a driveway leading into the woods next to the auto shop, and in the parking lot of a local bar at Beaver Av. As you travel Northbound through this residential area the speed drops from 50 to 45mph. Watch the change in speed! They pop you with instant-on radar and you’re done! Beware! They usually are lurking there during the early hours of morning, 4:00-5:00am, but can be found at different times of the day as well. FYI, the entire Hook Rd. corridor is a major speeding ticket revenue source for the town of Pennsville. Watch your speed on this road!!!!

S Hook Rd & Sinnickson Ln

Pennsville, New JerseyJan 28, 20090 Comments

At this location the police like to set up facing Southbound in the shoulder. As you travel Northbound from the traffic light intersection at Wal-Mart there is a slight bend in Hook Rd to the left. As you come around the bend, police sit in the shoulder next to a fence and bushes that partially hide them from view. They pop you with instant-on radar and you’re done! Beware! They usually are lurking there during the rush hours but can be found at different times of the day as well. FYI, the entire Hook Rd. corridor is a major speeding ticket revenue source for the town of Pennsville. Watch your speed on this road!!!!

Interstate 295 as you cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge to Jersey (exit 1 Pennsville)

Pennsville, New JerseyApr 08, 20020 Comments

Police usually sit at the downgrade portion of the bridge entering New Jersey from Delaware. Make sure to follow posted speed limit on the Bridge because it’s usually only 55MPH, but also varies with weather conditions. Police can clock you before you even reach the bottom and see them sitting at the base. They give few to no warnings typically looking for more than a speeding violation. This a known drug route from Florida to New York, so they take stops very seriously. Please BE CAREFUL!
