Michillinda Ave., just N. of Foothill, Pasad. /Arcadia bord   Arcadia, California

Northbound, just west of Hasings Ranch Shopping Center, just north of 210, About 3 blocks northeast of Arco station. They'll get you for speeding, forgetting to turn on healights, etc. I got ticket for forgetting to turn on my headlights last summer.

Sierra Madre Blvd. at Arcadia/Sierra Madre boundary line   Arcadia, California

Driving westbound you leave Santa Anita Dr. @ 35 MPH and hit this 25 MPH and it is a perfect place to find yourself forgetting to slow down. Each artery leading west off of Santa Anita is a different speed limit, so take care. 35 MPH on Orange Grove and 30 MPH on Grandview.

Sierra Madre Blv. West of Santa Anita   Arcadia, California

Long Wide Strait Street which drops from 30 mph to 25 mph when you leave Sierra Madre and enter Arcadia. All ways a Radar Cop waiting. Other less wide streets in Arcadia, most with curves are posted at 35 mph with no radar cop waiting there.

Huntington Dr. & Baldwin Ave.   Arcadia, California

So you've sped down Baldwin Ave. from the 210 Freeway exit, avoiding TWO speed traps and you know you want to make a left turn once you get to Huntington Dr., be careful there is another trap. This trap isn't about speeding, but crossing a double yellow line to get into the left turn lane. The Motorcycle Officer will sit at the Fire Station on the left hand side and watch you to see if your tires cross the double yellow lines [any tire that crosses those dreaded lines and he will pull you over - that happened to me]. Another thing, don't ever stop in the "Do not block" lane which is reserved for that Fire Station [I saw someone else get pulled over]. Be safe!

Southwest corner of Temple City Blvd and Duarte Rd.   Arcadia, California

A motor officer sits either in the entrance to the church parking lot, or in a small driveway adjacent to the church on the south side. Radar is pointed toward Temple City Blvd, catching drivers going both north and south.
