S. Atkinson Rd. Between E.McGaffey & E.Poe
When traveling on e.poe towards s.atkinson, heading North on S.Atkinson towards E.McGaffey, there’s a scrap yard or junk yard, before reaching the scrap yard. There’s an entrance where a cop well park and point his radar south towards Poe. Reason is more time for people to speed up. This area speed post limit says 30MPH. Should be higher, Cop usually parks from 3am to 4:30am. Been stopped at this location before, on the way to work. Beware!
Atkinson & McGaffey & Old Dexter Hwy
2,3, or more cops will position them selves on different roads, with one cop standing near the RR track and by using 2 way, will call observed vehicles with potential violations to the cops in the cars….Wolf packing usually occurs at lunch hour and around 5pm. One cop sits at the bldg on east side of intersection and I truly believe he would write his mother a ticket!!
South Sunset Avenue near State Route 285
Police cars are hard to spot. They pull off of Sunset Ave just north of Relief Route (285) and hide their cars in a ditch while they clock your speed. Most of the cops I have seen hide on the East side of Sunset.
