Police park near the the Metro Self Storage facility parking lot and radar cars coming into Sackville. Traffic coming toward the intersection of Glendale and Cobequid from the direction of Walmart are regularly pulled over and ticketed. Cops usually have the vehicles pulled over just to the side of the Ultramar station on Glendale.

Beaverbank/Glendale dr. Needs Gas Station

Lower Sackville, Nova ScotiaFeb 12, 20110 Comments

There is a steep downward hill in a 50 km/h zone. There is usually always an RCMP car parked at the Needs which is at the very end of the hill. One night, about 2 months ago, I saw a car there three seperate times. Watch out!

12 Mile Road and Sackville Dr (by Graveyard)

Lower Sackville, Nova ScotiaJan 01, 20110 Comments

Officers park their police car well out of site on 12 Mile Road, sit on a bus stop and radar cars coming from Sackville toward Bedford. Once the car has been identified for speeding the officer walks out into the road and directs the driver down 12-Mile Rd.
This will be RCMP and Halifax Regional Police conducting the trap.

Near Heffler Lumber on Lucasville Road

Lower Sackville, Nova ScotiaDec 31, 20100 Comments

Officers stop near the overpass on Lucasville Road. They are there quite frequently. It’s a 50km zone but the road conditions allow most drivers 70km. However, they will ticket you (trust me).
