Wells, Nevada Speed Traps

I just got a $112 ticket for not slowing completely from 55 to 45 to 35 to 25 in the allotted 1/8 mile(or so it seems). I’m from Idaho and have never seen speed limits drop so fast. Then leaving another small town on 93 headed to Vegas I saw a 70mph sign not even 500 feet from the preceding 45. No warning of reduced speed at all. I was so ticked, he parks right off to the right opposite the burger king just going into Wells, and gets you right after you leave the 4 way stop.

Nevada Harassment patrol waits for eastbound traffic coming down the pequop mountain range they are in the median and you cant see them till its too late

From mile post 352 to 357.. NHP hide in the trees in the median.. Traffic travelling west is not aware that the grade coming into Wells is severe enough to cause your speed to increase.

Old I-80 (now Business I-80) through downtown Wells is posted at 25mph. Don’t even think about exceeding the limit until you reach the 35mph signs on either end of Wells (about 7 city blocks.)
