Cars mostly State Troopers sometimes two sit in the Waste Management lot either behind the building or against the grass closer to the road mostly looking for cars heading towards averill park, somtimes the other way. Also look for red light runners due to the tricky light there at the intersection. Cameras are now attached to the polls for the lights.

On Rt. 66 in Hoags Corners, there is occationally a car hiding in the pine trees on the south side of the fire house. It is right after a long straight away and it is easy to go over the limit in this spot. The cars lights are off and it’s hidden in the trees so it will be difficult to spot until you’re right next to the car.

Using short cut that cuts across Rt. 43 in Sand Lake. This entire road is crawling with police and the speed limit is only 40 mph. It is hard to stay under that when only coasting down hills. Police on this road are known to hide behind buildings and also pull U-turns in the road when traveling the opposite direction of the (barely) speeding car. Keeping below 45 is strongly advized.

When traveling west on Rt. 43 from Sand Lake to West Sand Lake, the speed limit ubruptly drops from 45 to 30. Shortly after this, in the front of Troy Sand and Gravel, there is a cop car hiding behind the bushes. You will not be able to see it when traveling west, but it’s plainly viewable from the east side. Watch speed through this area, as traffic is usually 10mph over the limit, and they pick off cars as its convienent.
