Brooklyn-Queens Expy Gowanus Expressway near Brooklyn-Queens Expressway toward Verrazano Bay Ridge, New York

When you are on the BQE (I-278) going westbound to the Verrazano Bridge, the road converts from an elevated roday to a ground level one and has a shoulder to pull someone over. I have seen 3 times in the month, the cops pull someone over about a half mile from the bridge. Be careful, these were all times of day with light traffic, thus the trap!

Belt pkwy. west from Verrazano bridge exit all the way to BQE entrance.

Belt Parkway near Exit Number 2 Bay Ridge, New York

After exit 2 going towards the Gowanus, the second overpass near 92 street there are police cars that park on the grass right after the overpass and wait for motorists in the early mornings and evenings. Usually cars just fly by and never see the trap because of the stone support for the bridge

5th Avenue near 86th Street Bay Ridge, New York

NYPD routinely sit at or around the intersection of 5th Ave and 86th Street waiting for cars whom do not pay attention to some of the poorly marked "No Left Turn" signs and give tickets for this at a minimum.

Belt Parkway Bay Ridge, New York

About a quarter of a mile before the last exit on the west bound belt parkway before the belt turns into the gowanus there is a cop on turn hiding behind the overpass
