Early morning, traveling north of Erie on rt 303, whenever the train goes by, they sit in the lots on the east side of 303 waiting for people to make up lost time waiting to cross the tracks. Usually before you reach Lace.

the speed limit is 30 mph however as you approach the blauvelt middle school from either direction, it drops down to 15 mph….both mph signs are unfairly close to each other PLUS there is a patrol car sitting on the school’s driveway waiting for you to pass OVER the speed limit. so slow down anywhere around the school…

When heading northbound on the 303 from either Jersey or the Pallisades Parkway, a marked car is usually hidden in the parking lot of an auto repair shop on the right side of RT-303 across from a deli on the left side of the road, just before the interesection of Erie Street. There is usually a car there most nights between 9pm and 2am. If you run a yellow/red or are obviously speeding, expect to be pulled. Slow down at the green Body Quest Gym sign, and you’ll be fine. The entire stretch of the 303 from this point to the exit ramp to the Pallisades Parkway (to NYC) is a hot area for speed traps. Cars are also known to hide farther south on the 303 near the exit from the Pallisades. If you’re taking Exit 5 from the Pallisades at night, slow down.
