U.S. 395 north of Bridgeport, to Devils Gate summit   Bridgeport, California

This 14 mile section is a very lucrative one, for the CHP to get righteous speeders, typically traveling southbound on the long straight section south of Devils Gate summit. They don't even have to hide out, they'll come upon you in the oncoming traffic lane of the 2-lane roadway. They have a substation in Bridgeport, so this is their radar shooting-gallery.

US Highway 395 near Twin Lakes Road   Bridgeport, California

When traveling northbound or southbound on US395, slow down to the posted speed limit when entering bridgeport. The CHP and Mono County Sheriff issue a lot of speeding tickets in this small town.
