Calimesa, California Speed Traps
Interstate 10 Fwy (eastbound direction) County Line Road
Police car sits on Outer Hwy, beware when day light savings time changes, he’s hiding.
Church parking lot, on Singleton Rd just East of Chandler Av
Police vehicle parks in church parking lot under trees facing Singleton Rd. so as you speed by, he can dart out onto the road either direction.

Here is another spot that we in the CHP use to control high speed. We park on the Singelton Ave. overpass and shoot Lidar at E/B traffic headed towards Cherry Valley. Our "flashpoint" is 85-mph or more. The Lidar gun has a range of 2000 feet, so you can get caught almost .4 miles before you reach the overpass. Look up and to the right as you approach Singleton. Highest speed to date (9-6-08) is 122-mph, just insane! Buy the way, if you get tagged for 101-mph or more, Judge Hudspeth in Banning WILL suspend your license for 30 days the first time, 6 months the second time and 4 years the third time. Haven’t seen any three time losers yet.

I’m the CHP officer that parks on the right shoulder on I-10 west at Singleton Road. My "flashpoint" is about 82-mph or higher at this particular location. I just want you to know all the spots I sit and shoot radar so you’ll slow down and not crash. I don’t want your business, so be careful.
Interstate 10 West
I travel the 10 East every day, there is a rest area between Beaumont and Calimesa. CHP commonly sits at the exit to the rest area with radar.
